Unfortunately, we just had our other water camera film developed. The following photos were from our Orlando trip.
We drove to Cocoa Beach, Florida and went kayaking with manatees and as well as working our way through the mangroves. The cool part was also when we were in open water; it was shallow enough that motorboats could not operate.
Another trip definitely worth doing.
After kayaking, we had lunch at the beach and went to NASA.
We saw a few of these bats hanging from the ceiling at the Inner Space Caverns in Georgetown. They just quietly hung in the ceiling. We probably saw about half a dozen or so. These cave bats were commonly called “furry nuggets”.
We plan on going back to Austin in the summer to see thousands and thousands of bats fly out from under the Congress Street bridge. In addition, we’ll plan on taking a leisurely kayak ride on Town Lake and check out Zilker Park as well.
